I consider myself first and foremost a Portrait Photographer;

I absolutely love photographing everyday people and making sure they get the best photos of themselves they've ever seen.

Let's be real...

The camera can be a cruel instrument unless used correctly;

there is some truth to the statement that the camera can add 10 pounds, but that is only true if the person behind the lens doesn't have the skills to accentuate your best features and downplay anything you might feel self-conscious about. I totally know how to use the best poses, angles, lighting, and perspective to make you look incredible—the way the people who love you see you: perfect and beautiful.

I get it. We all have those hang-ups:

"I'm not photogenic"
"I need to lose weight first"
"I'm too old"
"I just hate having my picture taken"

But seriously, I believe you are perfect exactly as you are, no matter your size or age.

There is no better time than right now to exist in beautiful photographs. These pictures are for you, but they're also for the people who cherish you, because one day they will be absolutely priceless to your loved ones.

More about me

I became interested in Photography at a young age,

picking up the interest from my father. I would spend hours pouring over the boxes of photos that he took of us as kids and our vacation pictures.

I studied Photography in high school and then went on to study Photography at the Colorado Institute of Art,

so starting a Photography Business just seemed like the natural progression for me. It is something I've always wanted to do. I love the connections I'm able to have with the people I get to photograph, and delivering images they cherish of themselves and their loved ones (pets too!) is something that I especially love!

2 My clients often say that I make the experience a lot of fun, that they have more fun than they thought they would have (and not hate it!), and that I make them comfortable in front of the camera.

When I’m not wearing my Photographer’s hat, I love playing outdoors!

I snowboard and snowshoe in the winter, and hike, bike, rock climb, and paddleboard in the summer. I adore camping and sitting around a campfire, and I’m happiest when I’m outside.

I’m also a huge animal lover

—I’ve had many dogs, cats, and horses that I count as my friends.

Exploring the World Through My Lens

I love to travel and photograph my adventures. I’ve visited many different countries and have spent time teaching photography to students around the globe.

6 My family is extremely important to me.

I’m grateful that we’re close and I'm able to spend time with them regularly. My grandsons, Sidney and Raleigh, are my two favorite adventure buddies.
